It's not amazing. :(

It takes a while, but it's fucking awesome.

Saying that John could throw up into a mic and I'd think it's awesome.

Haha, true. I did make my opinion a little prematurely, it does progress pretty well and is a pretty solid song.

WMMHT? ynid halda announced another London date after the other sold out and I have tickets. :dibbley:

Legend mate! Whether or not I can afford it will depend on whether or not I can land myself a proper job between now and then, but I'll let you know :)

Bit of nostalgia curtosey of an archive for gamefaqs.com and the spin-offs from the heydays of 2002-~2005ish.

Lost touch with pratically everyone I spoke to then but it was nice reading that a message board admin wrote to my ISP for being a troll.

All done whilst listening to Sigor Ros, naturally. They were what I call PC as in Pre-Crohns. Time when I didn't have shite to worry about.

This coming Monday, I'm finally going to have someone to teach me how to play my hurdy gurdy properly. I've a feeling the frustration is about to begin, but at least I'll hopefully end up with the right technique.

I also managed to (sort of) fix a problem with her earlier. The main chanterelle kept dying as I was playing. Unfortunately, I hadn't noticed I'd leant my wrist on the wheel, lifting some rosin off, so the other chanterelle (tuned an octave higher) kept failing too. Rubbing the rest of the rosin off the wheel, re-applying, then adding some cotton to the main chanterelle eventually did the trick.

Still, apart from one of the drone strings being a bit weak and slow to sound, that's the only problem I've had with her in the few months I've had her. Not bad, really
If it sounds good, listen to it

Disregarding WPMOT thread, tonight was a really fun night getting to know people I don't see much. And I went to a strip club, and got offered a dance for free.
From one of the strippers.
Booyakashah.

My first ever time at a strip club as well.
All the dancers have really lovely bottoms.

Played the best gig ever last night. End of year party for one of the colleges at uni so there was a good crowd with a party atmosphere. Played our set of 30 minutes and then the audience started cheering for more. We then started a freestyle jam for 7 minutes mixing together salsa beats, funk and jazz into a single track. The organizers then asked us to keep playing, despite the fact we'd run out of songs. We played Billie Jean (which we'd never practiced before) and played another free-for-all before ending with Superstition with four guys dressed up as cool runnings onstage, complete with bobsled. Ended up playing for 50 minutes and got an incredible crowd response with about 200/250 people all dancing and jumping and stuff.

I ache everywhere, but feel amazing.
