I loved it for very obvious reasons. It was a loyal adaptation of the books (which I love) and Edgar Wright is one of my favourite directors.
The only thing I didn't really like about it was that the soundtrack was a bit too indie/slow for my liking. When I read the books I had pop punk/punk rock songs in mind, as well as crazy video game music (like Anamanaguchi, who did the soundtrack to the game). But Bryan Lee O'Malley (who wrote the books) listens to the indie stuff so it works on that level alone.

With a title like Loaded Weapon 1, after watching it you want to see Loaded Weapon 2

That's why I just called it Loaded Weapon.

though considering the history of spoof sequels (Airplane 2, Scary Movie 2, everything else that followed the Scary Movie franchise), it'd probably just be a disappointment.

Just walked out on Alex Cross, poorly acted, dull, could have been a tv film, got 50 minutes in and had enough, now waiting for End Of Watch, which I have wanted to see since seeing the trailer 4 months ago

I've heard bad things about End of Watch. A couple of the people I do the pub quiz with said it's 90 minutes of "You my bro. You my bro, bro. Got your back bro. You my nigga, bro".

Yeah - heard that too, also that the crims are straight out of Grand Theft Auto.

Finally saw Skyfall. Infinately better than the last one, even if bits are looted from Batman, and the new Q is a bit limp. Strong support (i did spend ages wondering when Albert Finney would turn up - would have been wittier if Sean Connery had played the part, given the other call backs to earlier films) and it didn't seem like a lazy sequence of protracted action slots joined together by a limp plot like QoS.

End Of Watch was very street talk orientated, but it was all filmed like a home movie and that is how they speak, I loved the film, very realistic, extremely well acted, and one if my fav films if the year

Skyfall - Daniel Craigs best, but still only average. Starts well & then dies a death. 6.5/10.

End Of Watch - Close but no cigar. Let down by the horrid 'gang' segments & almost laughable dialogue. 4/10.

Fun Size - Adventures in Babysitting, but without Elizabeth Shue. 5/10.

Rise Of The Guardians - Watch with the family & I think it would become more enjoyable, not Dreamworks best. 5.5/10.

Hotel Transylvania - If you liked Despicable me, then you'll probably enjoy this. 7/10.

Game Of Werewolves - Stupid, funny & enjoyable. 7.5/10.

Moonrise Kingdom - Yup, it's a Wes Anderson movie. Weird, understated, some might even say dull, yet very well written. Like all of his other efforts you have to be in the right mood for it. This time I was in the mood & will score it. 8/10.

Looper - 5 Twilight Zone episodes, meshed together in an attempt to make it's audience believe it's more intelligent than it actually is. A mess, but a well acted, well shot mess. 5.5/10.

These are the only 2 of those I've seen and I agree with you on both. Looper really disappointed me after all the fuss. Moonrise Kingdom is a fun, quirky movie.

I loved Looper. I thought it was a fantastic piece of film making. the acting was brilliant and the story was full of twists and turns. While his appearences could be considered more cameo than starring, Bruce Willis has never acted more fantastically.
