contemplating getting Far Cry 3 over xmas for the PC, has anyone played it yet and if so what do you think?

I loved the original, and the 2nd one was alright, how does the 3rd compare?

I've heard good things and from what i've seen it looks a lot better than the steaming pile of shite that was Far Cry 2

Playfire hasn't updated in a while, any ideas why? I have over 12000G now and its only showing about 10 and a half or something silly like that.

Edit: 11250.

they're having problems with their tracking system, instead of fixing it they're replacing it with a new one so it might be a while before it starts updating again but when it does it should be better

After finishing Limbo today (Great game), I finally decided to make a category for my completed Steam games and start working through them.

I'm currently 7/197.

Let's do this.

Prestiged in black ops 2 last night. Thats the first time since prestige 3 level 55 in cod4. Its my favourite one since cod4, incidentally.

Put in to support 'War For the Overworld' over the weekend. Looks like it'll be epic!

Aye I did it over the double XP weekend too. I still prefer Black Ops 1. I never prestiged in any of the Infinity Ward CODs. Level 80 seemed like miles away (only level 35 on MW3). Black Ops 1 had alot of flow with the Prestiges, even if there are 15 of them instead of 10 in MW. I am currently prestige 8 level 40 on Black Ops 1, and at some point will return to it to get finally up to prestige 15 level 50, even if in terms of gamer score you get jack shit for it.

in cod4 it was just up to level 55 so thats how i did it, never came close in mw2 or mw3. barely played world at war, got to about level 40 in black ops 1 which i would say is only just behind black ops 2 for me.
also been playing through the campaign and done a few strikeforce missions, not enjoying them at all.
