Sunny day, went for a swim and my mum's coming to visit tomorrow.
Feeling content.

Am in bed. Wearing clothes and sitting in the living room is overrated. Also the window's open and there's a nice breeze coming through and I can hear the birdies.

Finally on top of this illness and have to managed to knuckle-down and actually get things done for the first time in a week.
Feels great to be back in control of my life.

I just made a status about how I need to be tempted out of bed with chocolate as I haven't got up yet. My brother obviously saw and made a trail of chocolate from my room out to the landing Eating pieces of chocolate off the floor may be slightly demeaning, but it sure was tasty.

I'm trying to make friends with the landlady's cat and I think I might have had a bit of a breakthrough. For some reason he's alright when she's about, but really shy when she isn't.

Boss training session. I felt like dying at the end but it was brilliant. Slowly getting the hand of this roller derby lark.

My 30k run this morning went much better than expected, given it was much further than I'd ran for a while. My main targets for the race was survival and a consistent steady pace throughout, but I also managed to finish just after 2hr 30 target I secretly had in mind as the best possible time I could hope for.
Another eight miles in an hour and I'd crack the 3hr 30 target I have in mind for the London Marathon in April.

Wow, that's a really impressive time for 30k! Congrats

Cheers, Id've cracked it well under 2hr 30 on a flat course, but today's was notoriously undulating so I'm more than chuffed with the time I got.
