Why be ashamed about it? I find dumb blondes attractive, even if I need there to be a brain before I'd consider having any kind of relationship. Sometimes it's nice to just appreciate the eye candy. People like what they like, and that differs between individuals. I like what I like and I don't care who finds it a bit odd. My tastes run from the very conventional to somewhat further from the beaten path than most. I'm not ashamed of any of it. Nor should you be.

So the equivalent of a dumb blonde is a muscular man? You know muscular men with good personalities do exist

And tbh everyone goes for looks at some point or another. You can't get sexy regularly with someone you don't have the hots for.

Well I just met this girl, she was a friend of a friend, and she didn't know any of us so I thought I'd try to make an effort, y'see. Seemed perfectly innocent to me, even though it was the girls birthday, and my friend seemed reeally insistent that I give her a "birthday kiss" or something.

I was drinking though. Not heavily, just had a few. Wasn't dressed for a night out or anything, so the idea of her actually showing interest genuinely had not crossed my mind.


I'm not even interested in her. Just wanted to be friends. It's the fact that I am now completely unaware of this probably means my self-confidence has gone down a bit, since I haven't had a girlfriend in a good while. It's funny, I think.

Indeed. Without that, I suspect I'd never have mustered the courage to suggest anything more than friendship to her. Not that it lasted. 10 days later, she left me for one of my best friends
