Genuinely one of the worst movies I've ever watched.

Pacific Rim 0/10.

My taste in movies must be worsening, I watched Paranormal Activity 3 and 4 earlier and didn't jam my thumbs into my eyes.

Saw Machete Kills last night. I'm in two mind about it.

One of my mates was really disappointed. He was hoping for a straight-up sequel to the first movie. This time around, things get a LOT sillier and it enters, then goes beyond Roger Moore Bond territory. I can understand my mate's disappointment. I think, on balance, I would have preferred a straight-up sequel but have to admit that I was very entertained and would watch it again - probably wouldn't buy the DVD though.

*Spoilers*

At the start of the movie, there's a trailer for "Machete Kills Again: In Space". When I saw it, I thought it was a spoof and that the real "Machete Kills" was going to be a more straight sequel. As Machete Kills progresses, it becomes increasingly apparent that the third film is indeed going to be set in space and will be just as silly as the trailer makes out.
All right, so I MADE a mistake! ONE MISTAKE!

I think Rodriguez said after the first film was released that it would be a trilogy.

Despite my warnings, my mum can't seem to resist "a bargain" so to speak.

Despite only being DVD less than a year and now on sale for £3 I watched Safehouse the other night.

Pretty dull and very by the numbers with an ending I worked out well within the first quarter of the film.

Just under 2 hours long made it drag as well.

Went for a lengthy smoke break missing 20 minutes in the middle and hadn't lost any of the "plot"

The Game.

Tried to watch it a while back before a mate made me actually watch good movies and get me into them a bit more. That time I lasted 30 minutes and was like "Ugh, this is shite".

Second time round? One of the best movies I've watched in a while.

Don't really want to spoil anything, so just watch it.

Yeah, I knew there was due to be a second sequel called "Machete Kills Again", but I thought that the "Machete Kills Again: In Space" thing was a spoof to begin with and that the REAL "Machete Kills Again" would be somewhat less silly.

I thought it was confirmed ages ago that it'd be Machete, Machete Kills and Machete Kills Again, and that Machete Kills Again would be set in space.

3 is the best one, it's great, and it's the only one that's actually scary. 4 is utterly dreadful though.

Just watched Hellraiser 8: Hellword. Why oh why did I decide to do that???

A wise decision, they rapidly decend down the toilet after that.

For Hellraiser 4: Bloodline they decided to shake things up a bit - let's blast Pinhead off into a space station in outer space, that'll get the series going again!!!! Amazing that the person who came up with that idea in the board room didn't get laughed out of the room and they actually made a film of it. It's so shit the director took his name off it.

Hellraiser 5:Inferno is some crappy cop thriller deceptively marketed as a Hellraiser film, Pinhead is in it for maybe 30 seconds at the end. Hellraiser 6: Hellseeker is similiar, with Pinhead getting even less screen time.

Hellraiser 7: Deader has the unique honour of having a title that isn't actually a word, I was hoping number 8 was going to be called Deadererer after that.

Hellraiser 8:Hellworld is Pinhead on the internet terrorising some MMORPG nerds....it's as gay as it sounds.

That was the last one for years, then they made Hellraiser: Revelations, some shitty thing thrown together to fulfil some contract obligation. There's been talk of a remake of the original for years as well, nothing's happened yet though.
