That's why I went for it this year (it was a toss up between that or David Hasslehoff complete with inflatable burger). Not many know this but I have an absolute fear of birds. On the way swimming in the morning there is a gang of pigeons outside Iceland eating rubbish I'll actually add 5 mins onto my journey and walk the other way as they scare me especially when they fly at me or flap. *Shudders*
I have always found the plague Dr image pretty scary and nearly brought a leather mask online - they really did look creepy but couldn't justify that amount of money on something that would get covered in Beer and old pub men by end of the night (We had a bobbing for apples round and I went last ewwww):P Also I would probably end up hanging it on a door and get scared in the middle of the night with it.
I'm actually pretty proud of the mask as I made it myself and although it looks like I did it in the Arc and did the paper machier with my own drool I think it was pretty good attempt for someone that cannot even do up their own shoelaces
The original one I did was plaster (huuur duuur) which I then concluded was 'a bit too heavy' also to show you the full extent of my creativity the hat was just a straw hat I painted and I ended up flaking everywhere - so pretty proud with version 2 above
) used to proper creep me out, and anthropomorphised birds too. I seem more ok with it now though.
