WMMHT: Ended up going out for NYE after a really successful evening at work. Me and the sous chef drove into the driveway at 23:58 and ran like crazy to get inside so we could be with the other guys for midnight...of course we got there and then discovered they'd gone back to work, so we just put the radio on and chugged big G+Ts at midnight.

Now I have a couple of hours to recover before I go to Below at the Rainbow in Birmingham, my first clubbing experience D:

Today was utter shit, but it was a really nice service, and nice to see everyone come together for Jonny. I finally feel like the healing process can start.

The techno night I went to was just awesome, everyone is so much more chilled out than at metal gigs. The drug culture is pretty mental though, I've never seen so many class A drugs being done so casually.

I also got hit on which was awkward as I was there with a chef from work who I have history with...but it was still a nice ego boost since he'd normally be someone I'd consider out my league

Dunno about at an actual club night, but whenever people have just snorted a fuck load of something and listened to dubstep or whatever, it's been a way more chill night than getting drunk with metalheads.

Not saying I have a distinct preference on either.
