Kill Bill 1 was good, but 2 would've been a lot better if they'd cut it down by at least half an hour.

Kill Bill was okay in a sort of "Heh, it's a Tarentino film" sort of way I guess.

Kill Bill was pretty good, the second one not quite as good but still a great film. Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction are superb and two of my favourite films. Inglorious Basterds was also a very good film, but I am yet to see Django Unchained.
Steam = Starchild

Catch me at:
2022
Nightwish - London

2023
Gojira - London
Sabaton - London

Pulp Fiction - 4/5
Kill Bill - 3/5
Kill Bill 2 - 2/5 All that build up for Uma's two second finger work. Lame.
Inglorious Basterds - 4/5
Django Unchained - 4/5

Personally, my favourite Tarantino film (though he only wrote it) is True Romance. yeeee.

Come on mate, you have to give me more of a reason for your disagreement than "no".

How about "No, you are wrong on every level"?
But seriously, I disagree with every single point you made against the film. It's clear that you don't know Tarantino's style very well (if at all) in that you seem to have taken this film seriously. Early Tarantino films, sure, they're meant to be taken seriously. Reservoir Dogs definitely. His movies from Kill Bill onwards* are not meant to conform to any particular style of film making, he just kind of did what he wanted.
Also if you didn't like this, Inglourious Basterds will piss you right off.

*- Death Proof being an exception to this, as the "Grindhouse Project" did have a pretty specific brief.

And as everyone else is doing it:
Reservoir Dogs - 5/5
Pulp Fiction - 5/5
Jackie Brown - Not seen
Kill Bill Vol. 1 - 4/5
Kill Bill Vol. 2 - 3/5
Death Proof - 3/5
Inglourious Basterds - 5/5
Django Unchained - 5/5

Inglorious Bastards was absolute kak! Shit characters, drawn out plot, unnecessary scenes, it was just bad all around. What a boring film.

I loved it! The only character I didn't like was Frederick Zoller, and that's because he meant to be a cocky twat.
I watched it again on the plane the other day and it never at any point felt like a labour to watch.

Those are what my choices would be as well. Pulp Fiction is bar my favourite film ever. The whole film is just perfect film making imo. From script to camera work to direction to the way it all plays out. Hunny Bear and Pumpkin is the best opening film dialogue and acting I've ever seen.

Tarrantino is just over the top ridiculousnous for a reason. Whether it's saying nigger, tackling racism, stereotypes, or even promoting powerful woman, tarrantino isn't afraid to tackle it.

Django: 2/5

IB: 4/5

Haven't seen Pulp Fiction, not that fussed about seeing the rest.

Kill Bill pissed me off, it was too interested in being artsy and out there that the story is actually difficult to follow.
Who the hell reads anything in sigs these days, unless it's an animated gif?

Apart From Christoph Waltz, Inglorious Basterds is a complete chore, It has Michael Fassbender in it, one the most overrated actors going

I'm not a fan! Keep watching his films to see what all the fuss is about but I find him the most over-rated man in the movie business. Ho hum, horses for courses and all that I guess.

Don't take this personally as this is directed at a vast amount of people, but why continue watching films by a director you know you don't like? Especially one who refuses to change his style, regardless of the subject matter.
I know you say it's to see what all the fuss is about (as is the same argument for most people), but surely after three or four films, you should realise it's not going to be your cup of tea, no matter how much fuss surrounds it.
