It's nonsense. You can give a bad reference if you choose. However, there is no upside to doing so and potential downsides if the employee decides the reference was unfair. So it's not in any company's interests to give a bad reference. Note that it's also possible to cause problems by giving a good reference, if the future employer decides it was unrealistic and that it caused them to offer a job to someone that turned out to be unsuitable. Thus many companies now have a policy of only giving a reference that gives a job title and confirms that a given individual worked for them between a given set of dates.

Sitting here watching a Youtube video of an armadillo dancing to Billy Jean.

Time to get a job, I think.

If anyone has a link for a stream for Sky Sports F1 I'd appreciate a PM. Not that of course I would endorse that kind of thing, but the links I defiantly wasn't using may have gone AWOL.

The Three Musketeers on BBC is a bit ridiculous. A woman got full blown shot in the chest, at near enough point blank range, and was absolutely fine apart from a slight limp and a croaky throat. :|

Well 620,000 died in the American civil war, so I'm guessing it was sort of effective.

But that was 200 years later. The Musketeers is set pre 1643 when Louis XIII died rather than the 1860s.

They were pretty damn deadly, especially since contemporary medicine wouldn't have been the best.

However, 17th century flintlocks needed at least 15 seconds to reload which made them pretty awkward.

Went and hungout with a few friends who were skating at the port today, just chilled skated about, took a few photos, some videos etc. But during that we had a couple of joints which left me feeling a bit high but not too bad, don't feel anything now but I've got a serious case of the munchies.

Between 7 and 9 I had 2 helpings of a roast dinner, a sausage sandwich, 2 bags of crisps, a wispa gold and a bueno yet I could still eat all the things!
