He couldn't fuck that up anyway. The only reason we're just "seeing" each other at the moment is because we agreed we need to focus on our jobs first and foremost.

We have been incredibly close friends for the past 6 months so I know him inside and out, and he's since told me about a crazy sounding ex girlfriend which he thinks is why he freaked out before after I told him about my feelings.

After everything I said before I 100% get that you're all gonna think he's a dick, but I was at a mega low point when I said all that stuff and it's bound to make him look terrible. Anyway, as I just said to Sam on FB, I can justify it to death but after what I said before you're all gonna have your minds made up and I don't really expect any different tbh. If I'd read all that I'd feel the same way.

That's all fair enough, you know him better than any of us, because.. none of us have met him.

But yeah, we just don't want you hurt for no good reason. And sometimes people come across as cunts for a good reason, even if it is second hand info.

All I'll say is tread with caution. If things go well, then great, I doubt any of us would say we're not happy for you.
But if it goes bad, don't be surprised if there's a fair few "I/we told you so" comments.

I do honestly hope things work out for you, and that he's not as bad as we all think.
