We have been incredibly close friends for the past 6 months so I know him inside and out, and he's since told me about a crazy sounding ex girlfriend which he thinks is why he freaked out before after I told him about my feelings.

While I do hope it all works out for you I can't shake the feeling you're going to be fucked over in a few months. And of course he's going to sound like a complete Fud to us when you've told us about his, as you said, issues. As everyone else said just tread carefully.

My actual head hair is nowhere near as ginger as when I was a boy, it fades massively with age. I kind of miss it

Well, story time, a week ago I met someone, we really got on and, to put it bluntly, sex happened. After a day or two of talking, I stop getting texts, and I've been trying to get back in touch all week, today I received a text from her saying she's seeing someone. Bloody marvelous.

Sorry to bring a random topic to this topic, I just needed to vent, sort of stuck between shocked, hurt and furious over here.
