Had my sleep eeg today. As far as I know it looked pretty normal, and the drugs didn't whack me out as bad as it did for some people there. And my technician looked and sounded like Shae!

I finished the hellish campaign I've been on at work on Monday and the agreement was that I was going to get two extra days off straight after (starting yesterday). My boss has just emailed to say that I can have tomorrow off as well. Coupled with Wildhearts tomorrow night and going back home to Monmouth on Friday for the weekend to chill with the folks, this is starting to feel like a proper Easter break!

Sun is out, rest day on the routine, home early, 4 day weekend after tomorrow, cup of tea made when I came through the door, impressed boss at work with vague knowledge of access.

I've had a lovely few days with mum, Rich, along with some of the most important friends and extended family members in my UK life.

Was nervous about my weigh-in this morning as I've not been to the gym since Saturday and didn't go at all in the week before. Plus my eating has been erratic thanks to my stomach hurting on and off all week.

Also, found out this festival is in Brisbane the day after I get back from my first rotation of working away
Even better, I get paid while I'm away so I can totally afford it.

Also also, put the deposit down for the hostel for my mate's stag do, and only have to get like 3 more people to pay up and we can book the main event. Things are coming together

Homebrewing open day in the anarchist centre on Saturday, Limerick on Sunday and planning a fun day out somewhere down south before coming back on Monday is making for a not too shabby weekend. And an even bigger plus is I thought it was only Wednesday not Thursday. Booya!

Found a nice georgian pub in wiltshire I can stay in for £40/night, including 3 course dinner and breakfast. Looks like a weekend away with the girlfriend

Why would anyone listen to anything other than I Get Wet by Andrew W.K.? I bought the 33 1/3 book on it and devoured it one day - really reminded me how much I love that album and took me right back to being 15. Awesome.
