Re: Computer Games Thread
Don't know if I can be bothered doing an evil play through of infamous. Its necessary to unlock everything and upgrade your powers fully, but its the grind of finding all the shards you need to level them up. Probably going to try and finish it tonight and trade it and a few others for dynasty warriors 8 extreme legends tomorrow.
Re: Computer Games Thread
It was only a matter of time.
I will obviously buy this.

Seriously tempted to get Super Smash Bros. 4 for the 3DS.
Dunno how well it'd work on a 2DS though..

Re: Computer Games Thread
Will probably be absolutely fine on a 2DS, aren't all it's 3D features purely cosmetic (as is the case with nearly every 3DS game)?

Yeah but some games may be more difficult to play given the shape of the consoles themselves. But that's all I can think of. I want the Ocarina of Time and Mario Kart 7 as well, as all I have now is Pokémon X.
Re: Computer Games Thread
Ah, got you. Nah, I think you should be fine for Smash Bros, at least. Can't imagine the shape causing difficulty.
If anything, I'm a bit concerned about playing it on my 3DS XL. I love the XL, but it just doesn't lend itself well to anything other than RPGs / sims / slow things in terms of comfort; the buttons won't be satisfying for a fighting game, and the angular shape is sure to cause a bit of hand cramping. Ah well.

Mother of god the number of on screen enemies is insane. This is a game a lot of people would never expect to make use of the power of the ps4, but it does make great use of it. This is truly next-gen, and its a shame dynasty warriors is such a Marmite game because its good enough to be a system seller, if only it wasn't the 250th game in the series.

The police are insane. I've found all AI enemies seem to have had their accuracy upgraded, twice this week I've been killed in my car by police and Merryweather guys chasing behind. And not just some crappy little car, a fully modded supercar.
Re: Computer Games Thread
Guys, terrible news. I've come back home to Wales and decided I had quite the hankering to play Shenmue. So, I connect up my Dreamcast, power it on and... nothing. The power turns on, but the video is blank. The little once-white box, now discoloured yellow, is making weird scratching noises.
I think it may have finally happened. I think my Dreamcast has died. We had a scare back in 2003, but it came back from it. The outlook is not so great this time. I am not emotionally equipped to deal with this.

I have had Saints Row 4, but refuse to play it until my backlog of games is complete. Did manage to get the Season Pass for cheap. Now just need THQ to release SR3s dlc at something that isn't £13. Put a decimal place between the 1 and the 3 and I'd be happy to download that.

Re: Computer Games Thread
I am developing a real hatred for the drivatar system in forza five, I really am. This system needs to be scrapped from future games or at least made optional.the game itself is good. Basically the drivatar system records the way each person drives, and creates a drivatar from this data. Instead of racing against atraditional AI opponents, you race against these drivatars - whether you want to or not. Now, this wouldn't be a problem but it ends up being more of a demolition derby at times like all online racing games, which is why I stick to single player on racing games. Now I'm stuck essentially always in a multiplayer race being smashed on the last corner 100% of the time without fail. Bought a 2012 challenger to negate this because basically I let whoever's in second pass in the corner then zoom past them out of the corner, but its still annoying as fuck and you can't turn it off .
