If you can get it, Magic Mead's "honey mead" is my favourite. It's very sweet though. Their kings mead is damn good too.

Also, the bottles are awesome.

Lanchester Mead's my go to standard. It's basically the same as Moniack.

Lindisfarne mead is a nice treat when I get sick of Lanchester.

Jorvik mead is pretty good too, but expensive for what it is.

Welsh mead was a bit too bitter for my taste. The sweet was better than the medium though.

I was looking at lanchester the other day actually.

Reckon I'm going to get a bottle of this next time I get paid.

Living it large as always by spending the day watching Jack and Jill and then the Starving Games. God forgive me.

Our landlord had a house set for us to move in later this year, but since he wanted 6 tenants instead of just 4 he gave our house away to a different group of people.

So what we're doing now is looking for new houses. We're looking at these two at the moment :

Thanks! I think I prefer the 1st one too. It looks like it's aimed at families rather than students, which would normally be a problem but we're in our final year so we won't be going mental with parties and such!

Also it allows pets, which I almost never see with rented places. I do not own a pet, but it's nice to know anyway :P

With Altfest being cancelled, I now have a choice of 2 things to do this weekend, both of which I want to do.

1) Go to Lammas camp at Dovedale, a beautiful area with lovely positive people and workshops and dancing and drinking round the fire til we drop at night, making a wicker man with HUGE cock and burning him and a handfasting. For this, I now have a lift sorted from Long Eaton, but would have to slum it in a tent.

2) Go to Greenman festival in Wales for free with the rest of one of the morris sides we're with who are performing, but I can't dance due to my shoulder being shit and barely able to lift my arm above my waist today. They also have a massive wicker man and hot tubs and we'll have the trailer tent.

I can't decide. At either festival I shall be with great people, with lots of booze and having loads of fun. What do I do? :?

** Incoming gripe **
Am I the only one who's sick of seeing couples propose on stage? It seems like there's one a week now as if they're all jumping on a bandwagon.

I'd be pretty pissed if it happened at a show with one of my favourite bands- missing out on 10-15 minutes of song time because 2 people want all the attention on them and most of the people in the crowd won't know who the hell they are.
Seems abit redundant now and not unique in the slightest because so many people are doing it. :? OR am I just being a cow and wanting everyone to be miserable?

I haven't come across it in the flesh yet. But I would be a bit pissed of if it did mean a band cut short actual playing time to accommodate somebodies ego. It would be funny to watch if the girl turned him down though.

I'll also add I hate all that romantic bollocks at the best of times. :hurl:

I have opted for this. Will is kindly taking my camping stuff to a friend's tomorrow so I don't have to worry about lugging it on public transport by myself on Friday. Now to find the motivation to pack again.
