I'll admit Shining isn't for everyone, they definitely had too many sax solos, but how anyone can sit through 40 minutes of ES completely bewilders me, I'm not such a fan of silly English humour so that might have something to do with it.

I think I had my GCSE's checked for A level, and my A level/UCAS points checked for uni and that was it. Could have lied the whole time

I had them checked for my first job after school. After that no. I don't even know where my certificates are or even if I still have them anymore. After a certain age of about 21 they are more interested in your experience than qualifications. Obviously that excludes people just out of Uni, although if you worked whilst at Uni that's seen as a bonus.
