Not particularly worrying. It's common knowledge that she has basically no clue about decent music and is slowly killing a once great British metal institution.
It really would be better to abandon ship, I see so many people complain about the line-up all year and still fork out the money to go. If you want to get pissed in a field with your mates then organise it on any other weekend of the year and stop giving the Gregory's your money.

Sad thing is its still the only summer festival that seems to have a chance of booking a reasonable amount of metal bands I like, even if it has a lot of crap as well. For every Suicide Silence (who I think will play, if not this year then next), they have a Winterfylleth on the second stage. As long as it doesn't just turn into a festival with Suicide Silence on one stage and Of Mice and Men on the other, then I can just avoid the bad shit.
Having said that, the only band on that list I'd really like is The Darkness, and the only one who'd really fit is Rob Zombie. I hadn't really thought of Steel Panther before, but they are scarily likely, and utterly fucking terrible.
BANDS I LIKE FOR BLOODSTOCK!!!
Re: Vickie on the Jasta Show
Even though they're almost certainly too big for it Steel Panther would be the ultimate thursday party band.

Saw Rob Zombie on two different occasions. Atrocious on both.

Playing two nights at the Apollo in Manchester 2015 they're probably too big for the whole festival

Aye. If they got booked they would have to headline. And I can't see a joke band as a headliner going down very well.

Korn would be more suited to Bloodstock than Within Temptation

Re: Vickie on the Jasta Show
Seems legit.
Re: Vickie on the Jasta Show
All in the wording though.
"Would you CONSIDER?"
Logically she'd have to consider EVERY band that comes under the metal banner.
Whether she'd actually book them is another matter, but when running a metal festival then of course you'd have to be open to at least considering any metal band.

Re: Vickie on the Jasta Show
No promoter will slag a band in a tv interview without good reason. The fact that The Darkness and FFDP suck balls isn't enough to cross that line.
Come on Bloodstock. You know you want to. Hypocrisy. Sort it, Bloodstock!
