Re: The Q&A thread
Think I'll give it a go at some point. As scotch eggs are often sold with pickle of some description, it's probably not a huge leap.
All right, so I MADE a mistake! ONE MISTAKE!
Can't a man start over?! Do I have to keep on PAYING?! HUH?!
Maybe I should make another mistake! ...maybe TWO more!

Re: The Q&A thread
Gotta have wisdom tooth out next week because the fucking thing broke in two and didn't fancy telling me.
So go on, how much does it hurt?

Re: The Q&A thread
I've heard the pain is bearable, but the sound of having the tooth ripped out is the worst.

That comment can be read very diffferently than what was meant.

For me, not very much. There was a dull ache that stayed for a few days, but no outright pain.

Depends very much upon the quality of your dentist, and the depth of the root of the tooth. Pray for quality, and lack of quantity in that order

Re: The Q&A thread
I'm having 4 of my wisdom teeth taken out next month. Going into hospital for mine though and being put out as I have a really bad gag reflex and would end up throwing up all over the dentist otherwise and my teeth would remain.

Re: The Q&A thread
I have an album on facebook that up until now has been private. I want to make it viewable. If I change it to viewable, does it come up on everybody's newsfeed as 'Sugarmouse' added a metric fucktonne of photos' or, does it just remain there if folk want to look at it, but not get announced?
We're all ****ed. It helps to remember this.

Not sure but you can remove a specific "announcement" from your feed - click the arrow at the top right (next to the padlock) and click "View Activity" - each event has a pencil icon next to it where you can hide the activity or remove it from your log.
Who the hell reads anything in sigs these days, unless it's an animated gif?

Re: The Q&A thread
As far as I know it just stays there as viewable unless you decide to publish them to your newsfeed. It'll probably publish them if you change the settings for each picture individually but if you do the entire album at once it shouldn't do.

Actually that's a point, albums have a separate "Publish" button these days - don't hit that and it won't post anything.

Re: The Q&A thread
Thanks folks
Another question, sorry, is it possible to make an individual photo in an album, more private than the rest (as in only viewable to certain people), or do you have to have the whole album viewable by the same people?

You can select the audience/privacy type for individual photos, if they are in Profile Pictures, Cover Photos, Mobile Uploads or Timeline Photos I think.
Or you can adjust the privacy on anything, after you have shared it on your timeline.
All the info you need, should be in the Help section of FB as well, just go through Help - Sharing - Photo - Privacy or similar.

Re: The Q&A thread
I've 2 weeks worth of lesson plans and resources on my memory stick that need printing/emailing before I go on holiday next week. No computer is recognising memory stick now so can't do it. I'm so stressed and fed up and can barely type due to numbness and pain and I'm exhausted. Any suggestions as there is no way I can redo all that work.
Re: The Q&A thread
According to Google, no mp3 players have been reviewed since 2012... So, I turn to you lot for suggestions...
I'm looking to replace my knicked mp3 player to be used in my car.
Criteria:
Essential:
Not touch screen.
Storage at least 50GB.
Not Apple.
Desireable:
Decent price.
Over 100GB.
Might I be asking the impossible here?

If it sounds good, listen to it
