A difference of 86 in the Inverclyde vote, but it goes to No.
In lighter news the people of East Lothian seem to be unable to follow instructions as they've been writing "No" in the no boxes...

0430 and a few of the larger areas have declared. No is still leading with 55% of the vote but with the 9 largest areas still to go it could easily swing either way. Massive voter turn out. Very impressed with how many have gone to the polls.

55% happy with things just the way they are.

There was no option for that, assuming Westminster stick to their promises for once. No means change too.

This is true, far too many people are assuming that people who voted No are happy with things. This isn't the case. Anyway, I've been battling with my decision for weeks, I followed my head instead of my heart which is why despite me voting one way, I'm disappointed with the result.
If that makes any form of sense.

Yeah the people know that Scotland isn't ready for independence they've got a long way to go before they are ready for that. I was hoping the percentage would have been higher for No but there are a lot of stupid people on this planet so i have to take that into account.

Re: Scottish Independence thread
So many bitter people around right now. One of the guys from work complaining about being faced with a smug no voter when he went in to work, I have no sympathy he's been trying to ram his views down everyone's throats for months loads of people trying to claim its a fix as well, just stupid.

Scottish people are unpredictable and savage so imagining them with any power is quite frightening! I really hope they never get let of their leashes and us English spend more time trying to tame them so the streets of the United Kingdom become safer.
