Re: Trivial Grumblings
Fell flat on my arse during service last night and can barely move today. I guess it was only adrenaline that kept me going last night tbh.

Re: Trivial Grumblings
Off work ill today. Gruhhh.
I was supposed to be in the office today, then off on annual leave tomorrow for the BTCC launch day at Donington, which I now may be too ill to enjoy properly. Feels like I'm taking the piss too by being off during a week when I have two days booked off - Thursday is the Richard III reburial shiz in Leicester. I knew this week would be busy, but feeling under the weather too was not in the plan.

Forgot how horrendously awful my parent's internet is. Practically nothing works.

Oh god why did I volunteer to be web dev for wargames club? I both despise and not-understand working with code.

Re: Trivial Grumblings
London related grumble. How comes on London buses there is always one twat who waits on the first step and tells you there is no seats upstairs when there is at least five free seats? Annoyingly, when there is no free seats and you are the one waiting on that first step, no one believes you that there is no free seats and then proceed to barge past you.

Somehow managed to crack the screen on my Creative Zen X-Fi.
It still works, and the battery still lasts for forever and a day.. but I can't help but worry that this is the beginning of the end.

Old-school!
I miss my Creative Zen Jukebox. Survived many a droppage and cost half of what the 20GB iPod did at the time!

Re: Trivial Grumblings
That was why the iPod outsold them.
Creative, Rockbox, etc lasted forever, whereas the iPod was generally obsolete within 6 months so you had to buy a new one apparently.

Who the hell reads anything in sigs these days, unless it's an animated gif?
Re: Trivial Grumblings
No idea if this ever got confirmed, but there was a thing knocking around a while ago about how ipods batteries were guaranteed to start dying after 12 months to make you buy another one.

Probably the same sort of time people started saying Apple purposely put bugs in the Windows versions of iTunes.

I wish it'd gotten more of a market share. It was really nice to use.

Raided the freezer for something to throw in the oven for lunch (cause my Ma's new fella ate what I had for lunch and dinner today...), went to check on it 20 minutes later, left it sitting on top of the oven
I'm slowly but surely losing the plot
