What's freaking you out?
Re: What's freaking you out?
Wonderful news, congratulations! That flew by though - I'm sure she only got pregnant the other day. (Not that I was there, of course.)

Well done you two xxx
Re: What's freaking you out?
More update later when a) my phone battery is re-energised, and b) I'm no longer totally delirious with exhaustion.
Subjecy still relevant to thread. Probably won't ever not be!

Hah.
Sounds like you're all doing well at least (albeit knackered, which is to be expected).

Ok. I think I'm awake.
Nicki entered labour at 8:45am yesterday. She gave birth at 10:02am. He needed a bit of help to start breathing, but made a noise, then swiftly taken to neonatal unit. He weighed in at 3lb8oz at 33 weeks +6. He'll be in for at least a couple of weeks, as his lungs are monitored for strength and for his abilty to feed.
Nicki was taken to theatre and given some blood after some placenta had broken off inside. She recovered well, was kept in labour suite overnight, will be moved to ward later today. We've been able to hold him.
Fear not, I'm not going to be one of *those* parents who documents to the world and flaps their arms every single foot movement or when he burps. But I'll keep people informed while he's in neonatal care.
