Funny tattoo story about one of our mates that goes to Bloodstock with us.

He was serving in the army somewhere in the Far East when they all decide to get tattoos of their regimental badge whilst on leave. So he's getting it done and the tattooist is chatting away, then says "name?".
Thinking he's just being polite he replies "Colin"
"How do you spell that?"
"C O L I N"

Then he discovers that the bloke has tattooed his name on his arm.

My mate at work (32) was telling her daughter (6) that when she was a little girl they didn't have Ipads or even computers until they were teenagers. Also told them that they only had 4 channels on the TV.

Her kids response? "Wow, things really were different in the olden days"

My reaction to the story is probably how my mum felt whenever I took the mick about the world being in black in white when she was little...

Told my workmate to go home and show her kids the glorious sound of dial up....

Really?.If they made a bit more effort to appease those fans who were there from the start instead of constantly belittling them and chasing whatever bands are flavour of the month instead of booking those similar to what made this fest originally so great-then we wouldn't be talking about "entitlement".
