30c plus and I work in an office with no aircon, fuck this shit.

Our office has aircon but you won't be cool straight away when you get in. Luckily I'm borrowing someone's USB powered fan.

Thought I'd treat myself to a fancy ice cream, got one in a waffle cone, two scoops of toffee fudge plus a dollop of Mr Whippy on top that I didn't even ask for. It'll go straight to my thighs!

Wanted to make the most of it so lathered up with suncream but trust the sun to go behind the clouds halfway through my wander. Don't wanna be pasty forever, dammit.

We had a micro-fracture in the new cold feed to the new kitchen.

Thankfully the plumber has now fixed this, and the new swimming rool has been re-purposed as a kitchen floor.

Sustain pedal's not working. Took it apart, figured out the mechanism, inspected the wiring, soldering, and the contact that activates the sustain. Sometimes worked when I pressed my finger on it or pressed the metal contact against it, sometimes not. Probably gonna have to fork out for another.

Nah she's okay, it's my fault for not booking it earlier. Had a sit down about it and agreed that I could try to book a half day on Friday afternoon and a half day on Monday morning when our Director is back next week. If that goes okay and the colleague who is on compassionate leave is back in time then I will probably be able to expand it to all day Friday, Monday and maybe even Thursday. I'll be at BOA regardless it just boils down to whether I get there Thursday morning, Thursday evening or Friday afternoon.

Manager makes a big song and dance about being so generous for getting us "new" fans due to the heat. Not only does it take about 10 minutes to power up from what can only be described as "old lady struggling to breathe" to the full power level of "asthmatic", the amount of dirt and cobwebs in all of them make me doubt they're "new" Also don't understand why our "optional" uniforms are suddenly mandatory in the hot weather considering they're designed for winter weather!

I got offered a guestlist, im not doing anything better, but i just can't be fucked? and i'm kinda horrified at myself for that. It's been a boozy month, and the thought of yet another festival, overpriced beer and a colossal hangover just doesn't appeal.
