Re: What pissed you off today
I would still take a lot more notice of advice from my doctor and a government advice site that is relevant to the condition rather than a general webpage article on antibiotics.

Bonus points for the use of "grokking", a term that identifies you as Real People™.

I'd just go with doctor's advice and common sense, if you followed the media or scientific studies religiously you'd die of starvation as everything apart from water is linked to cancer. I generally abstain and go healthy for awhile if i'm on tablets just to help give my body a better chance/quicker recovery from whatever it is.

You're forgetting one thing Jim. The UK is tired of experts. In post-Brexit Britain people can make up whatever they like with absolutely no professional experience or training and it instantly becomes fact.
I used to have a link to a social networking site here but these days you all probably already know who I am.

Moved onto another team at work on an at least temporary basis as they have more of a workload and a leaver's workload needs to be backfilled, which is fine, but most of today consisted of me shadowing her whilst she introduced me to it, but it was her telling me all the rules and exceptions to this extremely complicated workflow. Granted, that's all she could do until a training plan is put in place but boy am I zoinked.

Fuck off Yorkshire!
You're very nice and that. But you're not having proud Lancastrians Wallace and Gromit.

Throat thing clears up, only for me to put my back out when turning in my sleep last night. Ugh.

Fucking done with The Olympics. Not just this year, done watching it for good now. Steven Donnelly and Paddy Barnes were just pure unfortunate to lose their fights, but there is no way in hell Katie Taylor and Michael Conlon lost theirs. Clear as day corrupt judging, just like with the Azerbaijanis in London 4 years ago. It looks like the only way to ensure a medal now if you can't knock your opponent out is to have your committee buy it for you.

BT line fault. On the offices ISDN 30's. That means the entire call centre is crippled, and guess who's responsibility it to get fixed?
Bonus that getting BT to fix it it like pissing into a hurricane.

Post-script to the other day, Cheatski Bastardov got so battered in his "victory" over Mick Conlan that he is out of the rest of the competition. What a fucking disgrace.
