Realising how baron gigs have got for me. Only Damnation to see out the year. I think this is the worst year in terms of quantity of gigs for me ever. I would love to say I was saving money because of this but no I have filled my life with other things this year. Full weekend at Insomnia 59 for my 30th birthday, WWE in November. Potential Norway trip in February. Flat broke.

Office poker tournament this evening. Normally these are just light hearted evenings of entertainment. Except that this time, one of the guys I work with has 6 figure winnings at the World Series Of Poker. It's fair to say he's going to be the favourite and the rest of us are probably just there to make up the numbers!

So worked up about the recent events that it looks like I won't be sleeping tonight consequently I won't be working today... Not sure why I bother but I don't leave the house unless I intend to get home safely and I think on two hours sleep against a 150+ mile drive, it won't be safe. Be another week I have earned next to fuck all.

It's not so much getting aggro from my female flatmate over the free table I grabbed (which I predicted and understand completely, not to mention that I tried ringing her for her opinion on it before taking it) but the tone of it. It wasn't all that heated but it definitely more along the lines of me having done something offensive rather than simply hasty and aesthetically displeasing.

Hate how something like that can put a dampener on my day as well.

Had one hell of a whinge today and I don't really feel better for it. Also my sleeping pattern is fucked down to my brain just not powering off, went to bed at 11:30 yesterday, still awake at 05:45. Best not happen tomorrow because I need to work. I want to be able to afford things again.

Folks rang to say they're stuck in traffic and are going to be late which will jeopardise their B&B booking because the landlady has now told them that if they don't arrive by 7 then they don't have a bed for the night. What a cow.

Also what's with the very occasional feedback you get when talking to someone on the phone? This time I could hear myself as loud as the other end.

They probably had you on speakerphone. I've noticed that a few times talking to people at work.

TG - tried to order sushi from Just Eat and the restaurant didn't accept my order. Now i'm disappointed and hungry and might have to leave my flat

Anyway, the tapas we just had at Under the Stars was lovely, though unfortunately there was some ugly noisy hen party there as well so we couldn't hear eachother. Great service though.

I've sat inside all day doing absolutely nothing - feel so unproductive and have been running on 2 hours sleep but can't get back to it no matter how hard I try - early night I guess.
