I could swear I made a thread some time last year asking about easy ways to get from Bloodstock to Summer Breeze, but despite using the search option, I can't find it for the life of me. Anyway, I did manage myself a direct flight from Birmingham to Stuttgart on a super cheap airline, but I have a feeling they'll want me to do the whole online check in thing before I get there. I've got loads of time to get my stuff together, but I want to put my mind at ease and ask if anyone knows the nearest internet cafe with a printer to Birmingham New Street station?

tl;dr Where's the nearest internet cafe with a printer to Birmingham New Street?

Hey all, new to this as this year will be my first BOA!

Any notable traditions or BOA only occurrences that happen?

Welcome to this world devoid of sanity. Our best known unique tradition involves buying each moderator a pint of our choosing!

There's the annual signing tent queue to tag onto, the yearly forum meet on Thursday and, assuming the 'Spell lads are still carrying regulation courgettes, Forky Forky.
If it sounds good, listen to it

Hello!
Long time visitor to the forums (mainly to look at upcoming tours) but I thought I register and give this a shot.
Feel free to call me SteelFrost for now. :)

I have attended Bloodstocks 2010, 2011 and 2013. Haven't been any more recent due to the lineups not really as much to my fancy. :-P
Nevertheless it will be nice to hopefully return one day as I enjoyed the atmosphere.

Always happy to talk about metal, as I listen to a wide-range including Power, Heavy, Black, Thrash, Folk, Death, Prog and most likely loads of others I can't think of at the top of my head right now.

The Chaplin is back!

I attended Bloodstock 07,09,10 if my memory is serving me correct and had a great time. I was also a regular poster on these forums at the time if anyone remembers me. Between life getting in the way (manly the birth of my son) and the recent Covid troubles, gigs and festivals have been a rare treat in more recent years, but I've still managed to enjoy a few. In the meantime, been working and getting more into gaming the past few years, even moderate a small gaming forum at VGR (https://www.vgr.com/forum/). I know, shameless plug, but feel free to check it out.

Probably have a post from ages back listing some of my favourite bands, but a few to mention;

Sabaton
Amaranthe
Lovebites
Nightwish
Rammstein
Metallica
In Flames
Arch Enemy
Iron Maiden
CthoniC
Hammerfall

Anyway, glad to be back. Here's a Chickenkitty.
