I always thought he was older for some reason, I was surprised to read that he was only 77.

Geoff Nicholls- member of NWoBHM band Quartz and was then long term sideman for Sabbath, playing keyboards and guitar from H&H onwards. Also in Tony Martins Headless Cross.

I watched the whole of the modern battlestar without realising that the original apollo was in it. I used to watch the original too.

A lesser known, but quite sad - Neil Finnleton, at 7ft 7 was Britains tallest man, dead at 36. Played in the NBA before moving to acting and played the giant Mag The Mighty in Game of Thrones and The Fisher King in Dr Who
