Rammstein might be a possibility at some point in the future if the festival grows and/or Rammstein's popularity declines. As it stands, they're way too big for Bloodstock.

Well the saying goes never say never but I wouldn't get your hopes up put it that way. BOA would either have to expand their capacity massively or those bands would have to take a big dip in popularity to fit the size of BOA.

Also unless Rammstein go a bit more spartan on their next tour I'm not even sure they could fit half their stage show on stage. When Rob Zombie played he had to ditch pretty much his whole stage show and it showed :eyes:

RZ had been touring a smaller stage for over a year by the time he played BOA (including at Download on the main stage), BOA's stage had nothing to do with that :)

I know this is coming a bit full circle but, could the last headliner be Opeth maybe?

I know the subbed last time out, but they are at that weird size where either spot seems realistic. Also, since they last played, Sorceress was released and went down pretty well, and is their best charting UK album to date (#11).

I can totally see it being Opeth. Hopefully (if it is) they play a heavy set.

I'd be ok with Opeth, have always enjoyed them live. I actually prefer their new album to any of their old stuff so wouldn't mind what sort of set they played.

I wonder how many of those decrying Opeth as dull live simultaneously revere Slayer's live performances? Some might even argue that the latter have less crowd interaction. To me, it just sounds like 1) People don't like Opeth, or 2) Don't like the setlist they happen to be playing at the time?

Opeth? That's make it 3 headlining appearances and a sub in between, surely the bookers can be more imaginative....hmmm, actually they probably can't.

Well it would add a bit of melody to Saturday, but I wouldn't be celebrating if it was them.
