hi
I've heard a lot about this ram gallery but never been myself, but do you have to pay to have a look round? if so how much? and when is it generally open?
also does anyone know if those people in steel amour who beat the crap outta each other are back this year?
RAM Gallery
Re: RAM Gallery
Its free usually. When it's open is a complete mystery to me, I've been in twice (both times around 2/3 in the afternoon), but I've seen it shut quite a few times as well.
As for the combat guys, who knows? Hopefully.

Re: RAM Gallery
I went round the gallery in 2015 and 2016 and found it enjoyable and the artwork is very impressive.
It is also a good way to hide from the blazing sun for a wee while.

It's free, the few staff they have in there seem to be there to answer queries (that i've seen anyway). I think it's worth a good look round, the Lemmy exhibit last year was very good. Plus it's a lot cooler in the gallery than it is outside so that's a bonus

Re: RAM Gallery
sounds good
it's a defo for my list of things to do, maybe during one or 2 songs into the KING 182 set
Watched battle of the nations first time last year, surprised how brutal it was

I was too. I've seen battle re-enactments before and they've always been quite lame affairs, so I totally ignored it until last year when I heard the noise they were making. Those guys really beat each other up, certainly going to be watching them again if they're there.
You should certainly make time for the gallery. It's only a little place, so it won't take up much of your day, you can easily do the whole thing between mainstage bands.
