They're veterans of the prog metal world now, and accessible enough with their really melodic songs to appeal to those who don't usually enjoy prog. With a new album out later this year, and the return of former singer Glynn Morgan, I would imagine they would like to get out and play some festivals. Their new single below is excellent!

Big fan - they were a brilliant live band with Damian. Although I preferred Mac as a singer, DW had a big personality that could have worked well at metal festivals and got them out of the prog cul-de-sac they didn't seem able to get out of. New stuff sounds good (wasn't expecting major changes as the main core of the band is still there and they froze out the others from songwriting) so we'll see when I see them in November.

I presume that's why Pete Morten left then? While I appreciate that Groom and West run the show, it seems a little churlish to stop the other members contributing. A little variety is always good, and Morten's Siren Sky is one of my favourite Threshold tunes

Presume so - they all contributed to March Of Progress but pretty much reduced to the core Groom and West for the follow up. For the promo for For The Journey, they were quite down on MoP and felt it was unfocussed. Personally I thought it was great.

Speaking of Pete Morten, you guys should check out NightMare World if you haven't already. He sings for them! :)
