But proper mash takes about 10-15 mins and tastes a billion times better. Nobody can be THAT lazy surely!

I hate it when people say 'lazy student' like being lazy is a requirement of being a student.

Buy a handblender. I use it to make Carrot and Coriander soup. Lurvely!

Either way, I'm pissed off because I've got to wrap up presents for my brother's birthday. Not just the stuff I got him, the stuff my mum got him, and the stuff my sister got him too.

And I'm trying to pack for Bloodstock because we'll probably be going out tomorrow since it's his birthday and all, and I'm going to Telford on Tuesday , and moving on to the festival on thursday with Jaxdia and co.

Various factors amounting to being let down for Bloodstock transport. I hope I'll be able to sort it out tomorrow but I'm seriously in a bad mood.

It's shit like that that will stop bands from bothering to tour over here at all!!!

with the odd exception... Manchester is a shithole for metal bands.

Except that, strangely enough, Manchester has some talented metal bands trying to make a crust.. it's just not fair!

Most of Manchester's bands do better outside Manchester.. but not all can afford to do that... People who call themselves "promoters" but do not understand the full responsibility of that role are round every corner in Manchester. It's a travesty - cause I love the city and recognise it's musical significance & contribution. This will cease to be if things do not change and soon..
sorry to be so heavy.. but this mail struck a nerve.

That sucks! I got the same news about download a while back, and it turns out that it was by a 1 in 7 chance that I missed out. :( Mind you, the person I'm going to BOA with... well, I'm technically going with three people, and two of them aren't 100% sure they'll be able to.

I can't wait until I've got all the planning done and I can just be at the damn thing. There's far too much thought that I need to put into this thing.

well. ive had the worst day ever!!

today has been so rubbish. i am not impressed.

i couldnt get to sleep until 3am and then i woke up at 6am and couldnt get back to sleep!

i then spilt coffee over my white shirt (good one) and forgot to let the dog out until i was about to leave the house.

then some twat nearly ran into the back of my car on the way to work because he was on his mobile phone.

THEN i got to work to find out that someone had stolen ALL of my pens! and the ink on my stamp pad had run out and cara bought me about 346839648933 million audits that needed to be done.

RAF PEOPLE OBVIOUSLY DONT READ LETTERS THAT ARE SENT TO THEM!
i had to email practically every person i had a claim from because they didnt send me the right documents.

on the way to the med centre i got bloody lost on the camp and it took me about 45 minutes to find where i needed to be, which happened to be across the road and turn left..not round and round an RAF site.

there was a massive queue in the guardroom where i had to renew my pass and some snotty bloke kept sighing and tapping his feet because he'd been kept waiting. so i purposely took ages talking to the man behind the desk.

i came home to find out that my brother had decided to put up my tent in the garden "because he was bored" and i then had to take it all down again..whilst cooking dinner at the same time.

and to top it all off, ive got a bloody cracking headache and i have to go and tidy the kitchen and put my washing in because mum is away in bristol.

GAH!

Woke up early to view a house.
Started raining and I missed the bus.
Got the next one, arrived at the peoperty. Dodgy estate and even dodgier flat. Really bad condition. Kitchen needs new work and no bath! :x

Went to mortgage adviser. She was useless. The quote I got already was better than anything she could offer and she was really patronising because I'm doing this alone and have little wages.

Went to other mortgage adviser. Kept trying to convince me to take out a loan too to cover desposit. Ahhh

Went around estate agents. They nearly all laughed in my face when I told them how much I could afford. :o

Went to view second house, received phone call that house had been sold.

Now I have 2 weeks to find somewhere and am panicking. Can't stay at mates/ parents as I have alot of stuff. Pants. Looks like I may have to take the dodgy flat after all!

Don't know what to do!!
house hunting sucks but I've moved 5 times in 6 years and am fed up of renting& moving. :x

Rant over!
]I'm dyslexic and have trouble spelling. Please do not correct me.

I try my best...sometimes for you spelling nazis that is not enough

Friends of mine bought a house in Risca a couple of years back ......it needed quite a bit of cosmetic work doing (went down there for a week to help them remove artex off every wall in the house!) but I was absolutely gobsmacked when they told me how much it cost.......under £25k :o

Similar thing round here would easily cost £100k+

Nice house, great big terrace out back overlooking the mountains for such ridiculous money.....only in Wales!

A combination of job interviews, house viewings and attempting to shift 2 bedroom's load of stuff without a car, it just became unfeasbile to take the time off. Totally gutted.

Losing my Mortal Kombat shirt in a way that can only be explained by some DICK nicking it at Wacken :x

I've not often been in a rage like this, but if I ever see anyone in that exceptionally rare T-shirt, I'm going to take his fucking eyes as payment. That's my favourite shirt.
