Well, at least that matches the main stage that day in terms of dreadfulness!
I'd be surprised if Krusher can remember the music he listened to last week, never mind the 70s. If his previous DJ sets are anything to go by, then I'd avoid it like the plague.
Re: Next announcement
Wait, does this mean they've finally ditched the 4 DJs?

Not sure how well the theme nights will work(Krusher will be fucking shit) but its good to see them attempting to address a common criticism and trying to increase the variety in the after bands entertainment

Re: Next announcement
Saturday will be:
Cowboys From Hell
Enter Sandman
Walk
Some Korn song
Mouth for War
Fuel
Domination
I don't know what else was popular in the 90s.

Smells Like Teen Spirit
Killing in the Name Of
Beautiful People
Roots
Refuse Resist
That Coal Chamber song about burning muthafuckas
My Own Summer (Shove It)
Stuff from the first Slipknot and System of a Down albums
Closer
Depending on the crowd you may get some early Maiden I guess. I'd like to think a Bloodstock crowd would ask for some more obscure stuff but he probably won't play it

Friday night for me as there could be some decent metal tunes from the 1980s

Re: Next announcement
People not being particularly imaginative when talking about the 90s. It could include:
Emperor
Carcass
At The Gates
Cathedral
Anathema
Opeth
Paradise Lost
Strapping Young Lad
Monster Magnet
Immortal
Plus more rock-y bands like Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, Faith No More etc and other stuff like Slayer, Anthrax, Megadeth, Sepultura etc
If the DJ has a little imagination, it doesn't have to mean all nu-metal and mainstream stuff

Nice to see some different stuff going on after hours. Although I've never made it past watching a bit of the Pyrohex (will they be back this year?) I may stick around for a bit this year to see what it's like. They've also posted on Facebook about putting some movies on so that would be nice to chill out to with a cuppa at the end of the night

I'm friends with the new guy they've hired to revamp the after hours entertainment, and he's confirmed there will be a "double bill of films each night", but isn't allowed to say anything else at this stage (I guess they'll make an announcement out of what they're showing).

Good riddance, pity one of the replacements is Krusher though. He did a set in there a few years ago and cleared the tent in record time

I'm guessing Bill & Ted, Spinal Tap and other Rock-related comedies.

Yeah, I'm thinking those are pretty likely, maybe one (or more) of the Pegg/Frost films, Metal a Headbangers Journey (or similar documentary), probably a cheesy horror or action film. Stuff along those lines.
