Based on previous years, my top two stages looks something like this:

Friday -

(possibly) Zealot Cult
Control the Storm or Xentrix
Death Angel
Metal Church, then most of BongCauldron
Damnation's Hammer
Children of Bodom
Tesseract
First half of Countless Skies, then all of Powerwolf
Sabaton
Grand Magus

Saturday -

The Parallax Method,
Cancer Bats or Odd Crew
Swallow the Sun
Guardians of Time, end of Evil Scarecrow
(possibly) Red Method
Dust Bolt
Helheim
Cradle of Filth
Anthrax
(possibly) first half of Skeletal Damage
Parkway Drive
Taake

Sunday -

(possibly) Harbinger
Witch Tripper
Solitary or Ross the Boss
Wheel
Boss Keloid
Resin
Dee Snider
Queensryche
Bloodred Hourglass, then the rest (majority) of Dimmu Borgir
The Lazys
Scorpions
(possibly - if we don't leave after Scorps) Eluveitie

That's plenty enough for me before fatoring in the other two stages. :)

Correct. I love the band, but the last time they played was with their first singer, who frankly just wasn't good enough. My review of the show at the time sums it up pretty well: "If she could sing in tune, they'd be great. But until then, they'll remain also-rans." All of the subsequent singers have been much better, and they're a great live act these days. Here are a couple of examples:

Not a bad announcement for me, Xentrix being my stand out (obviously  )
However, Control the Storm and Guardians of Time sound pretty decent as well. Clashes permitting I'll try and catch them as well.

Weakest line up for me but still enough to interest me, hopefully a few decent NB bands to pad out the days to fill in the gaps here and there though.

Do we think they might make some kind of band announcement tonight? Not many spots left of course but you never know.

One of next years headliners to be announced at this years festival according to tonights live stream  With it being the festivals 20th anniversary, I'm wondering if Saxon are in with a shout?

I am expecting Saxon and/or Devin Townsend to be announced at the festival this year.

Either/both would make me quite happy.

Didn't they have that youtube poll ? I imagine it'll be some rubbish like Lamb of God or Trivium.

I can see one of them headlining, maybe both. However, I am worried that one of the headliners will be someone like Architects or Five Finger Death Punch. :(

I reckon the 2019 headliners will come from the following bands:

Volbeat
Saxon
Devin Townsend
Architects
Five Finger Death Punch
Volbeat
Within Temptation

I am glad that they are unlikely to headline Bloodstock then! However, I was unaware they were that big as I don't follow them.

I'm still expecting Devin, LoG and Megadeth. However, I wouldn't be shocked if Dream Theater turn up. They are one of the few big enough bands that have never played.
BANDS I LIKE FOR BLOODSTOCK!!!

Nope. Count it out rather than add.

There's been 20 iterations of the festival already, so 2019 is the 21st iteration overall and the 18th anniversary.
