The map's up, on the Event Info page (direct link). I think the supermarket's your best bet for beer slabs, but be prepared to pay a lot more for them vs. a non-festival supermarket.

I'm sure a bike at a festival would never be allowed - people have enough problems walking between guy lines let alone trying to cycle, and after a few beers I'm sure someone would have to try  Next month/year I could go elsewhere with a bike though but time is running out so giving up on that plan for now.

Thanks for the confirmation on crates. I'm not planning on getting wasted so will deal with the prices, at least the first one will be cold (hopefully!)

If I remember correctly there were no beer crates on sale at the festival last year, but perhaps I looked in the wrong place.

I asked at the bar in Midguard and in the shop in 2017 and they had none. I don't think they had them last year either.

:(

The festival info page days that "you can purchase a case of quality chilled beers from the Midgard campsite": https://www.bloodstock.uk.com/pages/eve ... content_34

But I think it said the same last year and there was no beer. I bet it would run out by 8pm on Thursday anyway. :x

Well that could be a bit of an issue!

Warm decanted spirits and freshly chilled coke and/or a bigger bag...

Does anyone know if you can buy weekend tickets on the gate/box office? Saw info about it last year but no info this year

I don't know about buying at the gate, but they usually stop sending out tickets in the post around about now and say you can pick them up at the box office onsite instead. It may be that they sell tickets at the box office too but I can't find any information about that.

Is a generous 3 man tent (2 x 3.8 metres) too big for Camp Loner?

If that's what you've got don't worry- there are plenty of people who turn up with something half the size of a house just for themselves and missus. You never know your luck- you might be sharing it ....

No issue at all, bring a tent you are comfy in. As long as it isn't a marquee you will be fine!

They replaced it with having bars in the campsites instead I think (I don't remember seeing bars in any previous year).

There was a bar in Midgard beside the camping shop in 2017 when I started bothering to come - was that the first year they had a bar?

That was where you could get the slabs of cans from.
