Either/Or!
Think we have all heard of a reforming MF and playing Wacken also
KD has a new album out and certainly his last live release looked and sounded superb

Re: Mercyful Fate/King Diamond
They're playing Copenhell and Wacken so far and have confirmed that they will be playing more European festivals.
If Bloodstock don't book them then they not only missing out on a booking that will please a large chunk of the fanbase but it will be a slap in the face to all of those long-time Bloodstock attendees, especially after they didn't book Demons & Wizards this year.

Re: Mercyful Fate/King Diamond
This would guarantee my attendance for the first time since 2014, I wonder how many OG Bloodstock attendees could be persuaded to come back if they book a few rare bands like this. If they catered to that crowd as much as they do the crowd that doesn't even want to go, they could probably inflate their sales a fair bit, Hellfest seems to cater to a wide variety of fans as well and they sell out each year.

That comment can be read very diffferently than what was meant.
Re: Mercyful Fate/King Diamond
Either Mercyful Fate or King Diamond solo would sell me a ticket instantly. As has been stated Bloodstock are seriously missing a trick if they don't book either, especially Fate.

I'd be staggered if they aren't announced.
Re: Mercyful Fate/King Diamond
Please make this happen, King Diamond was one of the best headliners I've seen at Bloodstock and Mercyful Fate would be something special.

The Helloween situation is more understandable as they were touring with a near 3-hour set, which would only be feasible if they were to headline. And as much as it pains me to say it, their profile in the UK simply isn't high enough for this to be commercially viable for Bloodstock.
Not booking Demons & Wizards this year however - that one still baffles me.
Re: Mercyful Fate/King Diamond
A headline preferably (or S/G if not possible) slot would pretty much guarantee me returning after Devin's addition. I don't fancy going abroad next year so really hoping to see MF more than anyone else.
