Cattle Decapitation // Osiah // The Brood @ Venue 229 Oct 31st.
(Unless it's been renamed from something else I think this is a new venue for me)

Desaster // Root // Archgoat // Mork @ the Underworld Dec 1st.

Sunn O)))
Destroyer 666/Dead Congregation
Leprous
Subterranean Manifesto fest
Profanatica
Exciter
Within Temptation/Evanescence

Wanted to go to Mayhem, but it's the first day after a change in work situation after outsource company contract ends, so new building, colleagues, management structure etc even if same role. No one is allowed annual leave the whole of November, so turning up on the second day having been to a show and on about 4 hours sleep doesn't seem like a good move.

I do, I think I've gone to less than that all year though so far. I'm quite lucky that although London is a 3hr round trip I can do it in one day and the travel costs ~£10. Usually not that lucky with how many I want to go to are on Fridays/Saturdays and don't need leave (I like my sleep far too much to get in at gone 1am and start work at 8 )

Several of those are bands I've never seen before too. I'm also going to try and get Archgoat, Blasphemy, Black Witchery, Spectral Voice and Devin Townsend tickets before the end of the year. I hope no more gigs are announced - I've made my peace with the ones I can't go to already

Is that the Spectral Voice gig with Abyssal? I've had my eye on that too but will probably have to give it a miss as December is already looking busy.

Dream Theater's second show at the Hammersmith Apollo in February, with a better seat this time.

Yeah that's the one. I've seen Abyssal, SV and Grave Miasma before, but all three together I can't resist.

My legend of a Gran still sends me £60 every birthday even though she’s 89 now so that coupled with £20 from my bro has been blown straight on gig tickets for next year.
Went ahead and got:
Memoriam at the Underworld
Grand Magus at the Dome
Manor fest
The Combi ticket for the Visigoth double header at the Black Heart.

Just booked the Thrash Alliance tour in February with Destruction, Legion of the Damned, Suicidal Angels and Final Breath. Going to the Tilburg date, 013 is one of my favourite venues and it’s a great city. The tour is only mainland Europe so far but Destruction have hinted that their will be a UK package later in the year Mainly going as the supports are so good, Suicidal Angels one of my favourite bands. Love LOTD and been wanting to see Final Breath for a while. Plus Destructions new album is a stonker.
50 quid return on the Eurostar. Love being 5 minutes from the terminal :)
