Getting taxed at basic rate for my last, and no doubt my next, wage. 22% is fucking ridiculous considering the rate I'm on... I'm £120 out of pocket for last week and stand to lose closer to £200 this. I should get it back, but when? Frigging April or something probably and I need that money NOW. Immensely pissed off.
btw; katie, welcome to the world of the drug-addled waster. Sorry if that's harsh, but you're really not selling your boyfriend very well here. You're what, 17? Think yourself lucky that you are still at the age and in the position where you can get out relatively unscathed and are not a struggling mother who has nowhere else to turn to except towards the paltry rations her partner brings in, as most people who 'chose' to date such people are.
Again, if that sounds harsh, my apologies, but you painted a picture and I interpreted it.

Standing at a bus stop getting rained on. I was already running late and, thanks to Pompey buses being their usual semi-useless selves, getting steadily later. And wetter.
The moment I decided "Sod this, I'm gonna ring in." a double decker trundled round the corner like a big smug, four-wheeled bastard.
Once at work I then had to contend with a computer that's apparently trying to see how much it can wind me up before I attack it with a hammer.
Sod it. I think I'm going to slope off home and go listen to some hair-metal. The music of summer.

Ordering a Bathory CD from play, but being sent an Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong CD instead. Play are gonna send me the RIGHT CD as soon as they receive the wrong one back and will refund my postage for returning it, but it's still well annoying.
I just hope some old dear didn't have a funny turn due to the shock of opening what she thought would be a Jazz CD.
