I'm expanding my Pratchett collection at the moment, we're looking to move house so most of my Pratchett books have been relegated to Shed-dom at the bottom of the garden in boxes.

Can I be arsed lifting all the stuff off of the boxes? Nope

I kind of act as a library for my friends lol.

Nation is a good book kind of depressing for teh msot part but quite fun. it's a bit different from the ususal stuff but I liked it.

My favourite so far has been Maskerade, but I just bought Wyrd Sisters so going to give that a whirl when I finish the Boudica book.

Boudica as in crazy ginger chick who went nuts at the Romans, go her. Now THAT'S girl power.
I like the witches books but I prefer the ones about the Watch Fifth Elephant and Thud are amazing, night watch too. i just love Sam Vimes ^_^

Usual Dirk Pitt routine but it passes the time in entertaining fashion.

I do really like Pratchett but I must confess I struggled with 'Nation' quite a lot, whilst the concept was amazing I don't feel in many parts it was executed as well as it could have been. Has anyone read the most recent Robert Rankin yet? That's next on my list of books to get.

Tried looking for John Milton's "Paradise Lost" in the uni library today but all I could find were critical analyses of it. I think I might go down the bookshop tomorrow and look for a Penguin Classics version of it, if there is such a thing. I've wanted to read the book since I got Symphony X's album of the same name some time ago. In the mean time, I'll try finish the dark tower now that I'm on break from uni though realistically I'll be reading about siege warfare in the Holy Land.

Just reading Philip K. Dick's book 'Time Out Of Joint' at the moment. Very interesting, and intriguing!

Philip K DIck was a genius, I`ve read just about all of his books. I`ve just finished Chasm City by Alastair Reynolds, second book I`ve read by him and I`ll definately carry on reading more. About to start The Last Colony by John Scalzi.

Just finished reading Lisey's Story by Stephen King.
Now, I'm a massive SK fan but this was just bollocks. Overlong, overwritten, dull and virtually plot free. Most of it takes place in either a flashback or an imaginary world (which I pictured similar to Peter Jackson's Heavenly Creatures) with next to nothing happening in the present.
For the first time since The Tommyknockers I laboured through every page until it became a victory for bloody-minded determination. It wasn't a victory for writing.
Want a decent, new King book? Read Duma Key instead. It's simply one of the best he's ever written.

This is the third of four, its turning out to be a good series, if a bit gruesome in places
