Dissidia: Final Fantasy has taken over my life. It's better than I thought it would be. To be fair, it's not that amazing in terms of gameplay and the story is quite poor for a FF game really, but the sheer amount of stuff to unlock and customise makes it insanely addictive, it's RPG gold, I can't put it down. My level 37 Squall kicks major arse. And he'll be even better in a minute when I get a shiny new sword...

I'm not a fan of Fable 2: Electric Boogaloo, or my Xbox much in general lately, meh.

Searched for some information about fable3 as I haven't heard about it for a while, and I have to say that the 'touch button' idea sounds completely crap.
I'm more keen on the idea of ruling over Albion, but I can't shake the feeling that it'll do what Mass Effect or Fallout 3 did and be all 'OMFG!!!1WE HAZ MORALZZZZ!!!!!1111' but really be a load of shite.
Also, jonathan woss doing voices? :hurl: Get stephen fry back on board!

Maybe he just feels like bludgeoning someone to death with a heavy object?

I've been playing a little Empire: Total War in preparation for Napoleon: Total War.

I wonder how many times Creative Assembly can sell me what is, in essence, the exact same game before I get wise. =/

Does Empire: Total War run the same requirements as Medieval II: Total War?

Medieval II requires:
  • 1.8GHz Intel Pentium or equivalent
  • 512MB RAM
  • 100% DirectX 9.0c compatible hardware accelerated video card with shader version 1.0 support, 128 MB video memory
  • 1024 x 768 screen resolution
  • Directx9.0c compatible sound card
  • 11 GB free hard disk space formatted as NTFS

and here's Empire's requirements:
  • Windows® XP Service Pack 2 or Windows Vista™
  • 2.4 GHz Intel® Pentium® or greater or AMD® Athlon® equivalent CPU
  • 1 GB RAM (XP,) 2 GB RAM (Vista™)
  • 100% DirectX 9.0c compatible hardware accelerated video card with shader version 2.0 support, 256 MB video memory
  • Minimum screen resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels
  • Directx9.0c compatible sound card
  • 15 GB free hard disk space formatted as NTFS

So quite a leap in requirements, although most modern PCs would be able to play it no problem.

Despite me still having not done anything decent on my one days tinkering with the game, I'm taking part in a succession game of DF soon.

A BOA one should be done at some point.

I was killer at that back in the day. It's the only game I got in early with and played the public beta, so I was already pretty good when it was released, and then I played hours a day after school, every day without fail. Somewhat let my skills slip since then though, haven't even played a game on my xbox in months.
