I never thought I'd want to get married, and spent a lot of my youth pretty much dead set against it. It wasn't until I'd been with my girlfriend for a while that I realised that I didn't really have that strong of an objection - I was just rebelling against marriage because it was the thing to do.
So, I'm currently engaged. Which as a very odd thing for a while, but fits like a glove now.

I'd just feel like I as if I was living in the future if Ih ad a robot girlfriend. I'm not sure my fiance would be amused though...
