I'm talking about the series I'm just about done with Season 7. I'm getting rather fond of CGB Spender. He's awesome.

Past that. You're thinking of Jeffery Spender.lars_ulrichs_blister wrote:Ensorcelled wrote:I'm talking about the series I'm just about done with Season 7. I'm getting rather fond of CGB Spender. He's awesome.

I appreciate the potential spoiling, though!

Tis probably the shittest film I've seen in ages. And I watched it like 7 months ago.
Superbad is complete bollocks. One funny part near the beginning and fuck all for the rest of it. I have no idea why people seem to love it so much. I prefer my comedies to be funny.

better not tell you about the Lone Gunmen then :O
Re: movies
I agree with the people who've said Superbad was shit. Though I thought The Year One was even worse.

there needs to be a 3rd X-files film. the second one was great but we need the alien storyline finished!!!
The second one felt like another pulpy FBI thriller that they bolted the X Files brand on to.
Recently watched:
Solomon Kane: dreadful film.
What Just Happened: boring, smug comedy about the film industry. Someday, Robert de Niro will be in a good film again.

Re: movies
ive just watched a couple of trailers and here are my thoughts.
Nightmare On Elm Street - just watched the second trailer. it shows a lot more than the first did and id be quite happy to spend my money for the DVD. but my main gripe seems to be there are no more puns with Freddy and the famous 'coming out of the wall' effect from the first has been turned into a CGI mess from the look of it in the trailer.
Get Him To The Greek - ill admit, the title made me think this was going to be a gangster comedy type film ala Analyse This type thing. but its not. i dont find Russel Brand funny but the trailer was entertaining but it makes me wonder how many of the jokes are left in the film.
Cop Out - what do you call a film with a semi-recist white guy and a stereotypical dumb black guy? National Security? Showtime? Bulletproof (although the roles were reversed in that)? Alien Nation (ok it was an alien instead of a black guy)? no apparently you call it Cop Out. it didnt anything for me but i might watch it because its Bruce Willis.

I'm not holding out much hope for ANOES to be honest but I did like one line in the second trailer: "Why you screamin' for? I haven't even cut you yet".
Nice.

I have a lot of faith in this remake. It looks like we'll have a dark, evil as fuck Freddy (which we've not seen since the original). Plus, I find the Platinum Dunes remakes to be quite watchable, especially The Hitcher.
I'm quite pleased to see the comedy Freddy gone tbh. While the original films were a lot of fun, they went further and further downhill while they made Freddy crack more jokes. Seems logical to hit the reset button.

The Hitcher? Seriously? I gave up on it an hour in. Absolute rubbish. If Rutger Hauer was dead he'd be spinning in his grave.
It would easily be up there in my top 10 worst ever remakes if I bothered to do a list.
