I have not, and will not ever, watch anything to do with those films.
If I want to watch a human/vampire love story thing I'll watch Buffy or True Blood.

haha, I love how it paints the typical suburban American lifestyle and then SUDDENLY he's all "oh yes, I'm gay, here's me having sex with a man." It was funny.

Exactly my reasoning for watching the first (and why I'll watch New Moon, too).

The way I'm looking at it, if I slag it off without watching it, I'm no better than Mary Whitehouse - who campaigned against the Video Nasties in the '80s on the basis of what she'd heard about them.

I'm not planning on slagging it off, I'm planning on ignoring it.
Especially after reading about what happens in the latest book. A werewolf falls in love with a baby? Oh dear.

Watched Looking For Eric last night - it was ok until it decided it needed to have cartoon gangsters in it. It's a sentimental, wish fulfillment type film which takes a bit of wrong turn in the last 20 minutes.

That could also be partially why I'm watching the films. I hope that film is funded by Troma..

Yeah
That was the last thing I expected when he was there with his wife and kid. It's not usually what happens in films, I expected them to die or something, as usual

As much as I LOVE the POP games, the trailer for the film looks awful. Like, seriously bad :/

As much as it pains me to admit it.. I've just added New Moon to my Lovefilm list.

As for PoP, it looks hilariously bad. Perhaps worse than GI Joe. I shall most likely watch it.

i gotta agree with the others. the PoP film looks pretty god aweful. not to mention the fact that the guy playing the lead looks awful. dressed like the second game, weapons from the third and the story from the first. looks like its gonna be a right hash up especially as the film studio wants it to replace Pirates of The Carribean which will mean crappy sequels.

im quite happy waiting for Bioshock, Hitman prequel (which will annoy everyone who knows nothing about the game and watched the first film, which fucked up the myhtology anyway) and the incredibly long delayed Splinter Cell film.

computer games should really be left alone by film studios. mind you that might mean we would get even more remakes :S

Computer game movies are generally fine. Tacky fun if nothing else. It's when Uwe Boll gets involved that things to go shit..
