Re: What has made you happy today
I have just bought some flavoured beer from Belgium. Framboise (im guessing Raspberry though ive nearly forgotten all the French I used to know) and Kriek which ive no idea what it is, honey at a guess. Ill know more when I open them.
Im contemplating purchasing Jack Daniels single cask which will cost me a whopping £32 (discount and special offer RRP £40-), ive been recommended it, but I think its about £16 outside my price range.

Framboise is, indeed, raspberry.
Kriek, I'm pretty sure, is cherry.

I've allways been meaning to get some bacchus but it's pretty expensive compared to probably similar stuff. Worth it?

I cant say it is, sorry. Im a skanky fucker dude, if anything costs more than usual I expect AMAZING. It doesnt reach amazing. Its easy to drink, sort of alcopopy in alot of respects, sort of idea that Koppaberg uses, but with beer as opposed to cider. Its worth a go once, but beware - dont get a taste for it as you'll be out of pocket.
