If only. I've had to opt for a smartish fitted black dress... only it has a Victorian cameo design on the bodice. Oh well. Perhaps it will add character
We raise our wooden pints and we yoik and sing and we fight and dance til the morning!

There's always workwear in Asda, and some of the women's stuff is really nice and cheap. Surprisingly well-made as well. Their jackets are awesome.

Aye. If you attack an insect it will flee, but bloody spiders run at you!

I've yet to apply for student finance and yet to be given an A2 certificate (I've been waiting since last July really).

spiders are lovely creatures. anyone that kills one should have a body part removed.

Spiders are evil cunts, anyone that avoids killing one should have a body part removed.

I like spiders. No idea why people would be scared of them, especially in the UK where they're tiny and harmless.

It's human nature. You fear something, so you remove what is causing that fear. The larger the fear, the bigger the reaction to remove it.
For example, I'll usually ignore a daddy long legs, but you show me a spider bigger than a raisin and I'm stomping on it like there's no tomorrow.

but the fear is completely irrational. I would understand if it posed a serious threat, but an English spider isn't going to do anything.

Irrational or not, it is still fear, and that is still a natural response to fear.
Slapping irrational on the front, whilst correctly classifying it, doesn't mean you're suddenly over it.
