This was a triumph. I'm making a note here: GREAT SUCCESS!

Operation: Pub Lunch Mk.2 was executed flawlessly, along with going round town and to a freinds to watch films after. :)

Spicy chilli sauce is spicy.

This may strike many as unsuprising, but often chilli sauce is a pile of wank.

Agreed. I find that a lot of the time, spicy anything is disappointing as fuck. Took me a hell of a long time to find some 'spicy' southern fried chicken that I'd actually class as properly spicy.

I had the same problem. Got some stuff from the local shop, and was so used to spicy stuff being shit that I put half the packet into the curry I was making. Ended up so spicy that it made my gums bleed. :ugh:

I've managed to get a guy to take me shopping in Cardiff tomorrow. I have ultimate power. Plus, I'm off to Italy in less than 3 weeks :D

I've been wanting to go to venice for ages, but it's hard to convince people to go with me when it's a choice between canals or some random place with cheap booze. Also everybody is poor and it's supposed to be expencive as hell or something.

I didnt like the place at all, but its all dependent on what you look for. The campsite we were in, was well odd. We had a situation where one side, we had 4 Swedish guys next to us with an abundance of booze (over 2 pints), oh and the camping ground was a euro a night which wasnt to be fucked with (two plus points of Venice), only to get wiped out by the unisex showers. Id been at a week long festival in Slovenia, I needed at least 30 minutes peace and quiet? What did I get, loads of noisy French girls shouting their fucking retarded language at each other, which made me want to bail.

...or as it transpires in June 2009, invade Strasbourg.

This picture: Taken in Venice just about sums mine and my Polish friend Ralf's impression of Venice.

Unfortunately: This is the best thing that can be seen from Italy.

We do everything on a shoe string, so im thinking minimal. We're flying to Slovenia, questing the capital city for a day, then off to Croatia by bus or train. Then returning to Slovenia for Metal Camp, and im trying to twist his arm to go and visit Zagreb so I can add that to my growing clientelle of unnecessary travelling bullshit, that I can boast to my friends when they're stuck in somewhere badly cunt like Greece or Spain.
