I used to drink it because I liked the taste and it was better going down than other spirits. But drinking half a bottle neat with no food in my stomach aside from a couple of vegetable samosas made for very nasty vomit and one of those hangovers where you feel like you WILL die.

I first tried Jager because "YEAH I'M FUCKING METAL".

Now I drink it because it's fucking tasty mixed with redbull.

I don't mind Jager, but it does seem to be popular largely because it's the cool metal drink, replacing Jack Daniels/Jim Beam. Which has been a good marketing effort on Jagers part.

I can't drink tequila. I love the stuff, but it turns me into a paranoid maniac.

I found out on my 18th Jager with anything does not agree with me. Two people bought me doubles of it - I went from nicely giggly to insanely out of my skull within the five minutes it took to down them - not good :lol:

I drink it if its around, dont generally buy the stuff or order it at the bar though.
Oh and Fjar, i had a hideous jager experience at Wacken 08.
A bottle of jager mixed with a bag of weed i found on the floor = buckets and buckets of black puke :lol: it was horrendous
