I had Salmiakki once. Those fucking Finns made a liquor out of it too. Both - Fucking horrible.

It's awesome, I love the liquor. Could drink it from the bottle. I haven't had salty liquorice for more than a month now, because I haven't found any in the UK. Bastards.

Oh god, is that liquorice sweets that just have salt in the middle?

My mate ruined my vodka telling me it would taste great after adding that.

the guy I got it off was Finnish, and he loves the stuff.

Its big in northern Europe. Wikipedia informs me that parts of northern Krautland do it too.



Just another reason why I prefer Baden-Württemberg, and that brings me onto what made me happy today. This time next week ill be with my girlfriend, taking the piss out of her hilarious language/country.

BW is awesome. Lived there for 13 months. Awesome beer, too (especially Rothaus Tannenzäpfle).

EDIT: I also miss the Cannstatter Volksfest :(

Did you try a beer called Aecht Schlenkerla while you were over there? Its made in Bayern, but I shit you not it tastes exactly like Walkers Smokey Bacon crisps.
