well yeah, but i wasnt planning to get drunk, i just lost track of how much i'd actually had. Its a pretty easy thing to do, especially when someone else is pouring them for you

That's true, even more so when someone's paying for them.

When I was about 17, my American friend and I were in the Varsity in York. We'd already had a couple of beers, so feeling smooth but they guy from the year below who'd come with us was proper gone. So gone, he insisted on paying on drinks for the rest of the night, as we alternated on my two favourite liquors, whiskey and tequila. 3 hours later, I stand up to go and I shit you not, the world looked like it was a ship on stormy seas.

And I was still in school the next day, but I decided to stay away from things like welding and the lathe in DT!
