More money presumably?

I'm disappointed too, Doncaster might stay up now. I was counting down the days until their relegation.

Quite possibly.
Tough job for him to keep them up. 1 point from 7 games and they've only scored
2 goals in those games even at this early stage, is not very promising.

I guess they all have to get out of the 'valley' at some point.

McClaren may well be the next one to go.

To manage four divisions above where he was presumably  I can't blame him at all for leaving, but it's very upsetting nonetheless.

If anyone wants to see the potential leg breaker, if it made more contact it would've snapped his leg

Oh well, at least Liverpool looked good and won. Once Carrol and Gerrard are up to full fitness we should be rolling

Oh god really? I see us beating Everton but I don't think Rooney will be out long enough to save us from humiliating defeat

That could've been horrific. Bloody good job Torres
didn't make any contact.
Only he will know why he felt the need to do that.
Good goal though. He's worth £16,666,666.66666667
per goal now. Bargain.

Looks like McClaren has his job for another week.

Hoping we can avenge our mid-week Carling
Cup defeat with another trip to Cardiff today.

Good weekend football wise. Man U lose their stranglehold, and are damn lucky it wasn't a Tuesday night. Also, why do people keep going on about Carroll? Suarez is world-class, Carroll is shite and reduces the team to hoofball.

Crap weekend for us, we played well but our strikers couldn't score in a brothel so we lost 2-1. Mellor is a cheating fat shit though, never a penalty for Preston.

Can't argue with the attendance though. £10 for adults result with 17k in a Division 3 match, with round 1,800 from Tranmere.
