Wandering round to the Co Op just after they put all the nearly-expired stuff out paid dividends.

Back from a good couple of days in Brum with a mate. Went to Scruffies for a mediocre pint or two, meeting a couple of her mates in the process as well as someone I've known for roughly 8 years for the first time and some of her mates. Found a certain Mr Rob Bannister while I was there, too. That was followed by a couple of full taxis to Eddies, where I reminded myself I've been far too ignorant of industrial and EBM for far too long, and 'danced' to songs I wouldn't normally dance to, and knew the words to... Bon Jovi's It's My Life, anyone? Woke up without a hangover the following morning.

Went for a walk around Birmingham, through the German market, stopping to buy a stick of liquorice root along the way, to find the canal. Discovered a long series of single-gate locks in the process. There's also a feeling of satisfaction from walking onto an overcrowded train to your reserved seats on your way back home.

This was followed by a nice couple of days on a narrowboat. Came back home today after my last driving lesson before my test next week that I shouldn't have any problems passing.
If it sounds good, listen to it

I've had a pretty good evening considering it's been spent with people from work - they're great when they want to be, and it was nice to see a more relaxed side to some people. One of them announced that, after being with this guy for 36 years, they finally got married.

Been really enjoying taking photos in the snow and around the shop I volunteer at, as we get ourselves ready for Christmas :)

5-HTP? One of my friends is having trouble with SAD at the moment and wondering what it is and how good it is in general.

Currently doing the same after discovering them earlier :D

Also, I've spent all day (aside from using the bathroom and having tea) in my room, in my pyjamas. Day off well spent.

I did a bit of research and came across it, it's basically a block of Seratonin that you take once or day or whenever needed and it brings your happy levels up, it's used for depression as well. Done me absolute wonders it has :)
The best thing is though, it's the lowest ever price it's been in Holland and Barrett at the moment, only £7ish. I'd definitely recommend it!
